DCM #75 - Kedri @ 9:04 PM
Al's rolled out another installment in his fresh, home-baked series of Diary of a Crazed Mimbanite comic strips. I find a bit of vindication in this one, as I myself was asking the exact same question while sitting through Episode I. Many thanks to Mantis_Dragon for providing us with the heads-up.
The Latest at Millennium - Kedri @ 8:56 PM

Be sure to check out his stuff when you can.

New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: Resident Garden - Kedri @ 8:52 AM
File: Resident Garden
Author: BoL_Bojangles_5
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: It's a fairly large level, set in a garden type atmosphere. I tried to make it look like a scene from Resident Evil, the series of playstation games. The water thing in the level is supposed to be like it is, it isn't an error. This is my first real level so dont be too hard on me. There's plenty of ammo and secret areas, and it also has places for saber duels.
New Jedi Knight Mod: CIA Agent - Kedri @ 8:47 AM
File: CIA Agent
Author: Lazerus250
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: This is a JK multiplayer skin designed to look like a CIA agent. If you rate this don't be too hard; it's the first skin I've ever released. All of the mats in it are made by me Lazerus250 except for the hands. I think it looks pretty good and I hope some people download it. The skin sort of looks like Sean Connery (the original James Bond).
New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: JST Oasis 2 - Kedri @ 8:39 AM
File: JST Oasis 2
Author: FeaRWiTHiN
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: A Oasis mod (yes another one). It is a mix of Ji Oasis(no added areas) and MERC Oasis 2 (infinite concussion rifle ammo). There's only one more bacta besides the many concussion rifles, because of the infinite concussion rifle ammo.
New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: The Jedi Academy - Kedri @ 8:26 AM
File: The Jedi Academy
Author: JG_GaNt0RiS
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: An old Massassi Temple on Yavin 4 has been converted into a training area for Jedi Knights. It has an obstacle course, auditorium, dueling arena overlooked by an observation area and much more. The ideal level for a master wishing to train an apprentice.

New Jedi Knight Mod: James Bond 007 v2.0 Beta - Kedri @ 8:18 AM
File: James Bond 007 v2.0 Beta
Author: Ben Allen
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: This is an updated, albeit incomplete, version of my original James Bond Mod. I tried to address some of the feedback I received for v1.0. Now Bond wears a tux, and almost all of the weapons are new 3dos. Please note that this is just a Beta release, and please treat it as a work-in-progress. I just wanted to share what I had so far.
New Jedi Knight Mod: The Dark Wanderer - Kedri @ 8:09 AM
File: The Dark Wanderer
Author: EHC_Gibraltar_4
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: Many moons have passed since he left the town of Tristram. He tried to forget the terrors he beheld beneath the cold earth. Ultimately, he failed. The result? This single-player mod, which allows you to play as the Dark Wanderer from Diablo II, and to utilize his specialized blood saber, just for the occasion.

Massassi Web Based Email - Brian @ 11:22 AM
I've been getting a lot of reports that people have not been able to access their web based email. This is no surprise, simply read the email notes at the top. For those of you that chose not to heed my original warning, you are probably now not able to access your mail at all. Furthermore, all mail sent to whatever@massassi.com is now being returned undelivered.

Well, for those of you that have important things in your email box, yet chose not to switch your email, you can try the following URL. This URL will hopefully allow you to access your mail and forward anything you need to keep to a different email address. You still will not be able to receive any new email - there's nothing I can do about that. Anyway, here's the URL: http://massassi.mail.everyone.net/.

If you don't understand what I'm talking about, please read these email notes.

DCM #74 - Kedri @ 6:57 PM
It's good to see Al back in the swing of things: a brand new installment of Diary of a Crazed Mimbanite is available at his site for your perusal. For best results, an intense, shameful depth of SW knowledge may be required. Many thanks to Clappy for dropping us a line with the news.
Star Wars Battleground - Archimedes @ 3:47 PM
JBF of Jedi Nights has sent word of the following article in PC Gamer.
Many of you might know that PC Gamer has dug up some info on LucasArts latest RTS title, Star Wars Battleground. For those out there who haven't seen the article or whom may not own the latest PC Gamer edition, I have scanned in some pictures of the full article. Please note that each image file is around the 200k mark. It may take a while to load on some connections.

New MotS Single Player Level: The Empire's Capital - Kedri @ 6:37 PM
File: The Empire's Capital
Author: Helmutt
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: You are mercenary/common rascal called Henry Rodder, and your mission for the day is to kill a rebel officer imprisoned at the heart of the the Empire itself, Coruscant. And escape.

The level is quite long, with lots of ships flying around: TIEs, Corellian ships. Nice architecture with buildings rising up to space full of windows, platforms etc... Imperial troopers/commandos storming down corridors shooting to kill... and two cantinas full of shadowy aliens...

It has a variety of puzzles and different goals, but it's not too hard to beat if you have two fingers of forehead. This level will provide a nice half hour of fun, if played properly.

File: Gibraltar's Saber Pack 2
Author: EHC_Gibraltar_4

New Jedi Knight Mod: Brigade of Light Skin Pack v1.0 - Kedri @ 3:18 PM
File: Brigade of Light Skin Pack v1.0
Author: BoL_Pretender
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: Based off the Final Force Skinpack from Al MacDonald, this is the official Brigade of Light Skin Pack. Contains a total of 148 skins and 57 new lightsabers, including seventeen 16-bit sabers for your enjoyment.

Also contains a brand new black and silver saber handle and a great new main menu loading screen. This pack works like BFP 2X in that not everyone needs this pack active to join a game. People will see Katarn skins if they don't have the pack active while the host does.

Finally, this pack has a LOT of new sounds for the main Star Wars characters from all 4 of the movies. I will let you find out which skins have new sounds. Also all the skins have proper character names, which the original Final Force for some reason lacked.

New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: JK Domination (SDK and demo) - Kedri @ 5:40 PM
File: JK Domination (SDK and demo)
Author: SavageX
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: This is a SDK and demo that features the new Unreal Tournament style domination mode for use in Jedi Knight! This file includes the LEC CTF level "The Duel" that has been converted into a domination level and a document teaching JK editors how to add domination to their levels.

The rules of JK Domination are simple. There are 3 control points placed in a level. These control points have that same appearance as the CTF flags in JK CTF except they are gray. In order for teams to gain points, they must secure a control point by walking into them (which turns the control points into the team's color) and then make sure that no other team secures them. The more control points your team secure, the more points your team gains.

Whenever a control point is secured, the team that secured it (and the player that secured it for his team) will gain 5 points. After that, while that control point is still held for that team, that team will then gain 1 point every 3 seconds. However, if another team secures the control point, your team will stop gaining points from that control point and the other team will get the points instead.

In order to keep taps on which control points are secured from which team, status screens are placed through out the level (similar to the score boards in JK CTF) that display which control points have been secured by showing the control point's number in the color of the team that secured it. Keep an eye out for these display screens so you can figure out which control points need to be secured and defended.

As in JK CTF, The level will end whenever a team reaches a score limit or when the time limit is reached. Additional team scoring occurs when players kill the opposing team. They only gain 1 point per kill for both the team and the killer so don't depend on winning just by killing. Unlike JK CTF, you only lose 1 point when you commit suicide, not 2.

Also unlike JK's CTF, there is no lobby and no teleporters for teams in this mod. Everyone starts out in the game like they would in Deathmatch. However, they will already be set to a team when they join (by default, they are set to either red or gold teams.) The "team" console command is NOT disabled in JK Domination so you can switch to other teams while in play. JK domination can support up to 4 teams (not 2 like in JK CTF) so you can choose to be on the green or blue team as well as red and gold.
New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: Invasion! Canyon - Kedri @ 5:32 PM
File: Invasion! Canyon
Author: Cave_Demon
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: This is an Invasion! level I made this to make people interested of making Invasion! levels of their own. The level is modified from an original LEC level, so i didn't make it =).

To all of you who don't know what Invasion! is, Invasion! is a new mode of Capture The Flag. There are six bases in the level. Instead of taking a flag back to your base, you have to keep control of the base.
New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: Canyon Proving Grounds - Kedri @ 5:27 PM
File: Canyon Proving Grounds
Author: Blue_Bot
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: This is a replacement level for BGJ. Fits 4 people; any more and it would get cramped. This version of CPG has no 16-bit mats so all you people out there that don't support it can still enjoy this level.
New Jedi Knight Mod: Brigade of Light Saber Pack v1.0 - Kedri @ 5:22 PM
