Description

This mod allows you to play as Squall, of Final Fantasy VIII. Other features are as follows -1) Gunblade: 3do created by me(sorry, felt the need to toot the horn a bit). The gunblade replaces the fists, so you can still play with the beloved lightsaber. 2) Critical Strike: By pressing the "Fire Gunblade" key just before you strike an enemy, you'll get a critical strike. Watch for the big explosion... 3) Saber Color toggle: Just a cool extra. 4) Saber Collision Distances: Now they're the same as the visible saber. Did you know, for example, that the default double-slash has a collision distance three times the visible saber!?! Anyway, now lightsaber duels are up close and personal...

I love FF8, so good job on the patch. Thoughtful, and the gunblade is well done.

you should not feel bad about blowing your own horn, you deserve it! this is cool download it. only reason not a pefsct 10 you ask[ no MP support.

This mod is awesome. As a huge FF8 fan, and a huge Star Wars fan, this is the perfect combination. I don't even use the lightsaber anymore. It's nothing to the Gunblade.

OMG, this is amazing! That gunblade is incredible, looks almost identical to the real thing! Do you think you could make a buster sword 3do? I haven't been able to find a good one...

Sweet havn't looked at it yet but I LOVE FF8 keck my favorite character is Squall just look t my name. I give a 10 just for making it. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA -goes off to use it-

Wow its really good it looks just like squall and the gunblade is sweet. you should make a Multi-player version of it

Awsome mod. I'm a fan of FF 7,8, and 9, though I've yet to see any mods for FF9. (hint hint) I'd make one myself, but the last few mods i've made just crashed my hard-drive, and i don't want to put any of u through that agony. ANYWAY, i gave it a 10 cuz it's an awsome mod. I would like to ask if someone could make a mod of an FF 9 char or weapon. Or a skin pack, that'd be nice, like with Zidane, Dagger, Rusty, that Red dude. That's be awsome. Ok, now that i'm done making a fool of myself, i'll go.

OH YEAH!! I forgot to post it before, it would be even better if u could change the music to the Battle Musics, (i don't care how annoying u people might think they are, i love 'em) or the mini-game musics. Ok, i think I'm done this time. HEHE.

this is COOL... but... I NEED A SEIFER MOD...

AND A ZELL... OH AND QUISTIS... LAGUNA... WARD... KIROAS... RINOA... IRVINE (compleate with rifle) EDEA... ULTEMECIA... AND some GFs (at least carbuncle)

A very interesting mod.... I Like the critical hit idea... Ive played ff7 ff8 ff9 and ff10 and this is the most original mod for a final fantasy game ive seen yet.... Maybe you could make more skins in this mod of the other characters in any of the final fantasy games. anyway good job keep it up.
