At the first use of the cameras, when it gets back to the camera that looks at the player and there's someone standing behind you, that was a genius scare device. And even worse was when you unlock and open the one door and you go to see what's in the room, and as soon as you do, a flashy monster begins to chase and attack you (and he remains loose and invincible through-out the game, so even if you get away from it, you're sure to run into him, and mess your britches, again)! And in the shockroom, when a past vision appears of someone being shocked, and you watch it and you get shocked yourself! This level's mood and execution is very unique and deserves the rating it gets!!!
10/10
The SCARIEST level Massassi.net has to offer!
I saw it and shoot, but it kills me.
Wow Spiral!!!1 Nice Work, i could give you 0 points, because I had to change my pants. You get 10 from me.
JediKirby
Minor concerns would be movement around the level and lack of items.
{10}
Health = Orange Pill bottles
Power cells = gun clips
p.s not for anyone who read spoiler*
p.s -is there anyway to kill that creature? and i played it with a freind and there were 2 of them one for me and one for him, nice work!

That Thing is "Undieable".............
Just like Jan(20000.000 Health or so)
Unfortunately, I cannot play it due to the fact that my friend lost my JK CDs.

And yes, that thing can be killed (try hopping on the bedframe against the wall next to his cell and using the lightsaber), but a new one will appear. But I've gotta say, that enemy was a perfect choice for this level.
Only problem was that on his GeForce 4200 TI, (which is, oddly enough, the same card I'm running on and I had no problems) something happened where the screen was completely black (Except for his hud) when Hardware Acceleration was enabled. (A must for levels with 16-bit textures, otherwise you're playing in "dot" world). Any suggestions/ideas?
If you can read this...
I will stop there.
I had to Photoshop it.
you will DEFINATELY see the resemblence. As for your question, I have never even heard of "Thief: Deadly Shadows".
- It's sometimes pretty annoying that a simple chair can hold a grown up jedi back...these light items should really be pushable
- Why can't the secret cell door be shut again?
- The pill bottles cannot be picked up
- Sprite animations are not properly being displayed...a bug that I noticed in many JK levels/modifications
1. The cell door can't be closed again cause I didn't want the process to be reversed.. it wouldn't be as scary if you could just "undo" it... I want the player to be like.. whoops.. I messed up.
2. The pill bottles CAN be picked up.. they are health.. so you have to be somewhat damaged, other whise you will just walk right through them....
as for the sprites... Yeah, I noticed that too.. but I had no idea how it happened and where to begin to fix it... cause the sprites work fine for the first 20 something seconds.. it must be something to do with the AI.
P.S. I fought him in sp with invuln. on to see if I could beat him, but I can't. Every time I play in mp, he lays a yell-down war hell-ride on my behind. Truly a 10.
Every 3 seconds i looked behind me to see if that "THING" is there!
I give it a 10!!!!

More nightmares will come to me now. More than I previously had.
Vincent, Final Fantasy VII
But you should have placed some "defunct" effect for the secret door after it has been opened, to take a bit away from the "yeah, great, the door can't be closed because the leveldesigner didn't want his 00ber-monster to be taken care of" feeling.
Also, the level seems pretty empty (pickup-wise) for it's size. I couldn't test it with other players, though.
This is some level! Only debug mode and the invincabilty cheat ever gives me enough confidence to even take 5 steps.
Not even KWP with it's instant kill sniper-rife can kill that ghost in 1 hit. In fact, on PWP2's sniper rife's headshot function, and IWP2's disrutper can kill it in 1 hit!
Every inch of the hallway is riddled with fear, and tension.. and the unknowing suspense of not knowing what will happen next... especially.. if you have release what I call.. The Beast.
I won't ruin that aspect of the level for you by going into details... although some other level commenters maybe have already... but you have to experiance it yourself to understand to the true terror taht it can bring you. If you want to know the terror, suspense, the grittiness.. and the overall fantastic quality of this map.. just go ahead.. and FRIGGIN DOWNLOAD IT. You will not be disappointed, for I have deemed it the Best Jedi Knight Map in the history of Jedi Knight maps!
We ended up killing him and we had another 2, we killed them and there where more, we played for like 6 hours straight and when we finished there were at least 12 new monsters runing on the floor under the lamps in the hallway with the cages at the end. We where hiding on the lamps :D
I love it when people mention that they've used hacks, its like they're caught with their pants down and they're trying to back out of it very clumsily.
