Phoenix Suburban City
The Massassi Temple » Levels/Mods » Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level » Phoenix Suburban City
Description
Having officially been declared "out of service" by the mayor long ago, the tiny city block of Phoenix has been ignored for years. No one quite knows how the businesses and stores stay in business there, being only one mile away from the massive metropolis Phoenix City. The tiny town has been overshadowed by it’s older brother for some time now, but now the legacy of this old province will be known, this province called "Phoenix Suburban City".
This is a RPG multiplayer level, designed to realistically portray the life in an urban city. It incorporates tons of new photorealistic textures, authentic 3D models, city sounds, and a true-to-life city layout. It also, being the first JK MP level to do so, employs a day/night weather system. It changes from day to night (and vice-versa) every 10 minutes or so, making a completely realistic role-playing experience.
This level does NOT utilize 16-bit mats, but a high-end computer is still recommended to play.

the acual level is nice but i played it in zone with my friend and a whole bunch of errors occured. We couldnt see what one another were saying, doors wouldnt open...
Finally it's available for download !!! :D
Congratulations on finishing this mammoth undertaking Whelly - I know it will live up to your high standards and I look forward to playing it (just downloading it at work - it made my morning to come in and check the Massassi main page and see it available :)).
And Whelly - the honour was mine to be a beta tester for your level - I'm glad I could contribute as much as I did :)
Truly (from a review perspective, for people who are wondering whether to download this or not), this is a fantastically constucted level; thought and attention to detail are all in place and there's plenty of dynamic things to do to keep the player immersed in "Phoenix Suburban City".
Kudos to Whelly :D

PS: If you ever need another beta-tester for any future levels, then you know where to find me... ;)
However, the architecture was bland. The scale of the textures, rooms, models, what have you, to player was way off. Level layout and placement didn’t make me say “wow”. The environment and size, just reminded me I was playing Jedi Knight.
Wasn't bad, but with more time put into it. Would've been much better!
