Okay what is the obsession with changing the width of the saber? They never look as good, and there are already many mods out there that so the same thing.

Okay onto the mod. As you can probably tell I am not a fan of thin sabers and i dont like theses either. When I swing the saber im afraid itll snap like a twig.

I'm sorry, but it is rather yucky. I see no reason just to make them thinner... I much prefer the EP1/Trilogy Sabers mod over this.

What's the obsession with making the lightsabers thin as a toothpick? I know everyone's going for the generally right effect, but 75% turn out quite appalling. Anyways, I'm really waiting until someone completely redesigns the lightsaber so it looks authentic rather than stylised.

the reason why people keep changing the sabers is because you can't really do much else without the source code. ok so people are making mods but i haven't seen anything except a load of proposals and the like. if you don't like it fine. it doesn't bother me. i like it. its how i prefere the lightsabers. if you don't don't download it its as simple as that....

Why are you guys bashing it? I love this saber, IMO the only real changes need to the sabers are the blade. And the only way to change *in a positive way* is to change the thickness. The episode 2 saber mod was good too, but fat or thin, I love this. 10/10

As any honest girl will tell you, thicker is better. ;)

In all seriousness, though, this mod looks quite weird. If you're going to thin the core, you need to thin the surrounding glow accordingly. Otherwise it just looks amateurish and stupid.

Also, I don't understand peoples' obsession with anorexic lightsabers. The lightsabers in most of the movies (and esp. the newer ones) are much thicker than this.

It's good but, I fear when I hit a stormtrooper that the core will just snap like a twig.

Hi,
I give it an 8. I personally prefere thin blades to thick. thick blades look to over done, and thiner blades look more realistic and just simply look better.

Of course, this is just my opinion, and everybody is different.

Good job, and I'm sure all thin blade users will appreciate your work. :)

Thick or thin doesn't matter to me, it's the quality of the blade that counts.

These look fairly well-done. Thin blades remind me vaguely of the "monowhip" of the game Shadowrun, and with the way lightsabers behave when scything through matter, I can't help but be reminded of it.

I give this mod an 8. The idea has likely been done before, and it's a fairly simple modification, but it looks fairly well done, and it's entertaining to me.
