Description
This is a SINGLE PLAYER LEVEL FOR JK. Sorry for not creditting some of the contributors last time I submitted. I have done so in this revised addition of AJD2. Last you left off at you had defeated the cloned sith of Darth Maul, before finding out there where no weapon plans, it was simply a trap for the jedi. Jedi council member Koben Katarn picked you up after defeating the sith. When you came back to the Jedi Council, Yoda told you he already had foreseen there were no weapon plans. The council thinks that there may be a link from the trade federation for the cloning of the sith. He had to be defeated, thats why Yoda didn't say anything. He has assigned you with a new mission. There is a space station that has been orbitting Tatooine for a while now. He want's you to go to the space station a find out what there doing orbiting Tatooine. What you and the council don't know is that the space station is run by genetically engineered cyborgs (cyborgs are part flesh part robot, so they will bleed). They can push themselves harder, longer then any other normal man or droid. They have guns built into their arms, and they are also fast shooters. Note: The patch that came with the level, I put there for a reason. It's very important in order to get the full effect for this game. One other thing. When you quikesave, make sure you don't have your lightsaber out, and make sure there is no saber sounds going on. (for instance turning it off, or clashing etc.) and when you die and you load again, pause it and go to load and load it again, or else it may screw up your force powers.

It's got one hell of a clif hanger ending, it was such a huge improvment from the first A jedi's Discovery, I await A Jedi's Discovery3. There will be a 3rd one right? Oh yea, make the structer of the next one, more complex like other people are doing, not that i don't like this one.
this isn't too good.
I admit that I DL'ed this level after reading comments about Crouching Tiger... and so I thought "Ok, let's give this guy a shot, He's had more time to get his act together..." But I must say that I was sadly disappointed with what I received. If you want people to respect your work and Download more of your products, Then you have to take the time to clean your work. What I played was Shoddy work! I for one, will not download another work with this author's name attached.
how many times must it be stressed - levels should not be made in JKEdit - PERIOD. Every level I have seen made in JKEdit has been terrible with the exception of one - and that was only because the PROGRAMMER of jkedit made it. I don't know if its bad for level editor newbies, but you got to switch to Jed sometime. Agh, well anyway, this level was definatly not worth the 5 megs for sure. I'd rather stick to the non boxy levels that arent filled with phycotic enemies that fire the same speed with raildets as they do with blasters - I dont call fighting them skill - but as I said, as long as you have a fan club, keep going. I guess they haven't been spoiled by the sweeter sides of JK levels yet....
but...(there is always a but)
the level has a very very good plot and that makes up a little for the bad editing.
As another guy said...use JED...it makes better levels.
I am a JKedit turned JED guy. Even though JED is a little more complicated it is a far better program to use.
As too me judging the quality of this work, let me rephrase it: This level needs work, and should not have been released in a rush.
For those of you who did not like my comments and felt that they were immature, you might want to consider a spellchecker if you are going to call someone stupid.
Oh, and I work in the Entertainment Arts. There is something called bad voice acting. (This doesn't mean it can't get better.)
Anyway...
Well... well done by working your transition from JKEdit to JED. Your readme file is misleading, as "JKEdit... with a little bit on JED" can make people feel nuts (not me).
BTW Zippy don't let people discourage you (not that you are)
I don't see why it matters if you place cogs with Jed or JkEdit
Actually, it does make a difference whether you use Jed or JkEdit to add things and/or cogs but I suppose you aren't quite that advanced yet to see why... I've never released a level before, and my skill is waaaaay above this...
Dont give up because with years more experience you may turn out something that does not waste space on my hard drive, I shall look foward to deleting this!
To other potential d/l's dont bother!
Why? It would not load level. It would get about 3/4 of the way loading, then say "Could not load level." So I gave it a zero because I couldn't get it to work. What a great level!
::turns on his blue-colored lightstaff::
i'm off to kill lots of stormtroopers!!!!
I am now continuing construction on ajd3
i didnt take 5 years of advanced english fo nothing dudes
Anywho, i'm not a levelwriter or anything like that. Editor, nope, not that either. I'm a player. I enjoy playing the levels that people like me put out because it shows creativity which this level shows A LOT of, The people who dissed you have no right to diss you. If the other levels showed HALF as much creativity as you did in this level then I would have one FULL hard drive. I woudl have downloaded them all. I get a sore butt from sitting here playing the levels that i have downloaded so far. So keep up the good work and I can't wait to see AJD:3. And I would like it if you would send that to me. I'll e-mail you so you can send me the demo.
I'll send you the demo when I get the chance.
I LOVE THIS LEVL!!!!!!!!!!!!
However, I don't suppose you coudl post the script here? Cause I only heard half of it and wudl like to read the rest. The sounds recordings were most poor quality, though I know that soemtimes that cannot be helped. Therefore, to combat this trouble- use subtitles as well as voice.
Also, there were some serious cog issues. I kept sinking into the floor.
But probably the most annoying thing was the fact the game kept shutting down on me. I finally worked it out so I didn't hafta go back tot he begining everytime, but it made the whole thing harder and more irrtating.
I realize, though, that these are beginner errors, and I hope that Zippy will not take these critcisms too harshly, but will work on imporving so that AJD3 will be all the better.
Peace :)
For the architecture... It's mostly boxy, but there are signs that (real) eye candies are starting to appear.
The little solid Tatooine on the ceiling of outdoor areas is pretty lame... But whatever, I can't find way to turn that circle floating object into a nice looking planet. (looks like you used that technique from Dark Emperor 2 =P)
For the cutscene, please add captions so people can read what are your voices speaking...
I gave it a 6, as it's getting improved. (Both Dark Emperor 1 and 2 has an average rating of 6) Nice improvements, and I enjoyed the level!
