Mat Spotlight - Brandon @ 11:24 AM
This week the Mat Spotlight shines upon Emon's beautiful sunsets mats. If you like what you see, then download these mats today. If these aren't what you're looking for, then browse through the mat section to find other great mats. If you have some mats you'd like to submit, then just take a look at the submission instructions.
Star Wars Week at Daily Radar - Kedri @ 9:48 AM
Okay, for the moment just ignore the fact that this is at Daily Radar. It's as if when they're not unfairly reviewing games with reckless abandon, they can come up with some pretty funny stuff. In their Direct Hit department they've got a whole slew of features devoted to nothing but Star Wars. Among the offerings are the ultra-rare Original Star Wars Teaser, a Star Wars Episode II Title Generator, and the 20 Best Star Wars Villains (my money's on Number 11). They've got tons of Top 10 and Top 20 Lists, all of which you should be able to get to from this Star Wars Week Main Page. A pretty amusing diversion you should check out when you're bored.
LEC Updates Tech Support Info for... JK? - Kedri @ 9:30 AM
Yeah, I thought this was a little askew myself, but it looks like the boys at LucasArts have updated their technical reference guides for both Jedi Knight and Mysteries of the Sith. They've expanded their troubleshooting sections on video cards, but more importantly they cover many more issues on gaming on the Zone than it did before. When you've got a tech problem and can't wait for a response on the forums, these seem like a good pair of bookmarks to have handy. Oh, and lest you think I spend my time hanging out at LEC Tech Support waiting for updates, I found this nugget of 411 at Blue's News.

New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: No Leaf Clover - Kedri @ 6:39 PM
File: No Leaf Clover
Author: Schming!!!
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: This is a small multiplayer level set in a summer chalet. This level is intended for 2-4 players. Being so small, this level should provide for some fast and furious gameplay. Not designed to be a sabers level but you can play with sabers. Intended for GUNS! GUNS! GUNS!
New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: SWD BGJ - Kedri @ 6:35 PM
File: SWD BGJ
Author: SWD_Terminator0
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: SWD's first Battleground Jedi. I know all of you will love this level; it has secret areas, new places to battle that you could never think of! Also for all the fans out there, there are jail cells! You can fight on top of the ship, or across cool catwalks. There are no guns in this level, which has a cool greyish tint. Made by SWD_Terminator0, but ideas by SWD_Sephiroth.
New Jedi Knight Mod: Killer's Weapons Pack (KWP) - Kedri @ 6:26 PM
File: Killer's Weapons Pack (KWP)
Author: ID_Junkguy
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: This is a weapons mod for JK that replaces the original weapons with new and much more powerful ones. Weapons include an instant-kill sniper rifle which makes bullet holes on the walls, nuclear grenades with mushroom cloud explosions, several laser guns, a missile launcher that creates huge explosions, and more. There are also new 3DOs and projectiles for almost every gun.
X-Men TC Screens - darkjedi86 @ 7:33 AM
The X-Men TC has posted new screenshots of the characters that are featured in the mod.
BioWare Looking for Star Wars RPG Art Director - Kedri @ 6:58 AM
Whilst getting my bi-daily dose of Penny Arcade I learned that BioWare, the developers tapped to work on the PC/console-based Star Wars RPG (check out their press release about it), is looking for an Art Director. As wise Tycho speculates, he (or she) who assumes this role will have a first-hand shot in shaping this new chapter of Star Wars gaming. Excuse me while I do my best impersonation of Homer drooling...

They're looking for the standard experience set: 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, drawing, painting, and graphic design skills all a must. Click here for all the info. If you or anyone you know has what it takes, well, here's the job you've been waiting for! Note: this RPG shouldn't be confused with Star Wars Online, which is the entirely online RPG being developed by Verant.

New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: The Village - Kedri @ 7:42 PM
File: The Village
Author: Fabulous Fuzz
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: A very small multiplayer level where you fight in part of a village. This is my first foray into 3D games so it's not terribly big or complex. It consists of two houses, one of which has been abandoned and has gone to ruins. The ruined house has a lot of sniper blinds among the debris.
New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: YJM Training Grounds - Kedri @ 6:23 PM
File: YJM Training Grounds
Author: YJM_JediMaster and KOP_Blue_Bot
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: A well-sized multi-player level for about 3 or more players. Featuring catwalks above and a bar below. Next to the bar you'll find two tiny forts meant to be dueling areas. There are over six secrets in the level; see if you can find the YJM secret room.
New Jedi Knight Mod: Immortal Sabers Pack 2 - Kedri @ 6:18 PM
File: Immortal Sabers Pack 2
Author: ID_Junkguy
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: This sabers pack offers many more saber colors to choose from and use in Jedi Knight multi-player. Every player can see your new saber color, even if they don't have the patch. This patch is for use with Patch Commander, and you don't need any BFP's to be able to use it. It has 20 more sabers, in addition to the 17 sabers from the first version, so there is a total of 37 special saber colors for you to choose from.
Steven Shaw of Obi-Wan Interviewed - Kedri @ 4:10 PM
Blue's News reports on an interview at Computer Games Online of Steven Shaw, the project leader behind the upcoming Episode 1: Obi-Wan. From what I read, and from what Blue had to say, a large chunk of the interview went into detail on melee and saber combat refinements. Along with the interview come six screenshots: some old, some new, but all good!
New Columns @ The Bespin Star - darkjedi86 @ 12:54 PM
The Bespin Star has 3 more columns up, so head on over and check 'em out.

New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: Ramses Temple - Kedri @ 7:28 PM
File: Ramses Temple
Author: frae7
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: This level was based around a old temple theme. All weapons are in here. Plenty of ammo, 8 shields, and 1 Armor. A couple of new cogs, by Deadman, allow the player to swim without drowning. There is one trap. This level would do well with teams, or with your basic free-for-all. It is a rather large level, so 2-5 people will make this level very fun.
New Jedi Knight Mod: Incubation Trooper - Kedri @ 7:12 PM
File: Incubation Trooper
Author: Lictor
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: This patch changes Kyle and all forms of Stormtrooper into red-armoured troopers from Incubation: Battle Isle Phase Four. This does work in multiplayer (just select Kyle as your character skin) but it was designed for single-player.
New Jedi Knight Mod: StarGate SG-1 Skins - Kedri @ 7:03 PM
File: StarGate SG-1 Skins

Colonel Jack O'Neill
Doctor Daniel Jackson
Major Samantha Carter
Teal'c
New Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level: Mayhem - Kedri @ 6:35 PM

New Issue of DCM - darkjedi86 @ 1:43 PM
It seems that Al has released Issue #59 of Diary of a Crazed Mimbanite. As I'm sure you know, Diary of a Crazed Mimbanite is a collection of comics that spoof the Star Wars movies, and is drawn and written by a chap named Al. All of them are hilarious, so head on down and read #59.
