File: Wolfy DM
Author: Elyas Machera/Wolfy

New Jedi Knight Mod: Arsenal 3 - Kedri @ 2:00 PM
File: Arsenal 3
Author: Chad
Screenshots: Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2
Description: This will be my final version of Arsenal. This mod includes a 9mm pistol, UZI 9mm, Frag Grenades, HK-91, M-16, Psg-1, G36k with bayonet, and a Tommy Gun. It will work for multiplayer (see screenshots). The gameplay is changed dramatically with military skins by BlueBot and realistic damage. It still has unlimited neutral force powers and force push as well as unlimited IR. Goggles. Kyle can still do flips and has a new death animation. I also made improvements to singleplayer. Enemies will fire bullets and their guns will make realistic sounds. I have changed the KEY files of most of the enemies deaths. I have made more power-ups for ammo and health. This is by far the best mod I have made. If you liked my two other mods, then download this one.

Chat Applet Updated - blujay @ 8:14 PM
The chat applet works with the new channel now.
Chat room moved - Juztyn @ 7:55 PM
After a feud with the IRCops and the subsequent banning of #massassi from irc.chatcurcuit.com, the chat room has moved. You can now join in the fun by pointing your IRC client in the direction of irc.holonet.org. You can do this by opening up your options, clicking 'Connect', clicking 'Add' and typing irc.holonet.org into the IRC Server field.

I'll get Brian to alter the Java Chat client to reflect these changes ASAP, but until then you'll have to use a IRC client such as mIRC. Hope to see you there!

Level Pack Status - Brian @ 5:56 PM
The judging of levels submitted to the contest is officially over. I will be compiling the list of winners hopefully on Monday. This is due to the fact that some of the judges are gone for this holiday weekend. When the final list is compiled, the winning authors will be contacted about fixing a few small bugs we encountered, and then the pack will be compiled and released. The levels that didn't quite make it (most of the levels submitted were really good) will be released on Massassi before the pack itself.

Words of Wisdom - Archimedes @ 4:36 PM
Spart of Jedi Nights has written an article, or more specifically, a rant, on the recent cancellation of the Obi-Wan FPS. It has some pretty good points, so I would recommend you join Spart, read this article, and sigh a sigh of disgust towards LEC.
Obi-Wan Is Shown The Door - Kedri @ 2:19 PM
It's a bummer of a day, guys. Obi-Wan, the game we've all been waiting for, is no more. Here's the official company line, cut-n-pasted from the LucasArts site:
Following an extensive review of the project and a great deal of deliberation, LucasArts Entertainment Company has ceased development of Star Wars: Obi-Wan for the PC. The expected breadth and scope of the Obi-Wan project could not be met given limitations of technology and the company's recently heightened quality standards. LucasArts is now planning to bring the game and its assets to a next generation console platform. Further announcements will be made in this regard next year.

LucasArts remains fully committed to developing games for the PC platform, as evidenced by its current development alliances with Verant Interactive, BioWare Corporation, and other soon to be announced projects.

We wish to thank our fans for their continued support through this process and assure them that our number one goal is to provide them with high quality, fun games.
By all means, feel free to chime in on our message board about it.
