The Space Ship

Posted: 2003-02-20 6:47 p.m.   Report Abuse Architecture was nothing great, but by far not the worst I've ever seen. The general layout was a bit one dimensional though. Textures and lighting could really use a lot of work... There were a few interesting things though, such as the conveyor belts with actualy crates moving along them, and the ship flying around outside (although the way the background was moving made it look like it was flying backwards :p ) Item placement was limited to just one room, so RPG is about all this level would be good for, as the author states.

Overall, some interesting stuff, but this level could use a bit more work.

A decent level, certainly playable for an RPG.

Posted: 2003-02-21 1:08 a.m.   Report Abuse He said it was a cargo ship, not a Hutt ship. But you're right, A-Wings were only available to the Rebel Alliance/New Republic.

About the A-wings, they were not available to anyone outside the alliance as they were developed by the alliance for fighting against the empire. My end analysis of this: Wolf Devil, step off. If it were LEC made, then you could validly complain. Why does everyone here always pick at the smallest things? Is it a common insecurity among the mob of bickering commentators?

Posted: 2003-02-21 7:16 a.m.   Report Abuse Corran, you jerk! That was totally uncalled for. I was simply stating fact, in a MILD tone. I wasn't complaining! I already stated the A-wings were used by the RA and NR, and that's it. I wasn't bickering, complaining, or what have you. Sheesh, pay attention.

And Snake, I don't really thing the Hutts would mess with the civil war. They're simply gangsters.

To any admin who read this: Please, do not delete. Considering how he reacted, I believe this is just as appropriate.

The hanger was really kewl too. The textures were ok but it ws nothing terrible either..I liked this lev alot..I give it an 8.

Posted: 2003-10-25 11:58 a.m.   Report Abuse This is my post from the screens. I post and rate this level after I play it. I personally do not care about there being a-wings in this ship. People can't say awings were only for the rebels. You don't know that for sure. In "A New Hope" Han Solo says that he gave back enough money to BUY 12 X-wings not build 12 X-wings so they must buy them from somewhere else. I thought it was cool to see A-wings in the level since I have never seen an A-wing 3do. In your second screen It is a hall way filled with side ways monitors. I don't like that myself because it doesn't make sense and generally rpg's half to make some sense, but then I don't live in the age of Star Wars so I cannot say they wouldn't do that. Over all this looks like a good dl and I'll post my response after words.
