Description
The map is set in the peaceful surroundings of a Japanese Court yard, so show some respect and battle honorably. Great thanks to Nathan "Fox1" Noah for the supplying his masterfully crafted textures and to Seth "playingkarrde" Powell (project leader of bushido) for permission to use them. These textures are from the mod Bushido of which I am a team member.

Kinda reminds me a little of Onimusha for ps2...
But as hard as I tried, I really could not find anything wrong with this. Maybe a few minor technicalities with the architexture that I really dont care about, but, I think its splendid. Its the only Japanese thing earning something above a 2 for me so far.
Reading the actualy HL Mod site though, I have a couple of references. =) Ill post them there on the MB, and you can use them at your own discretion.
Good Job! 9/10

I gave it an 8
I would have given it a 10 but:
1. You can't use it with Bots. They just jump around and hack at each other. Many maps are like this and it drives me nuts, because I practice with Bots often and I suspect a lot of other players do to. A great map like this should be played and enjoyed often, and this issue REALLY limits it's playability since it can't be used unless it's loaded on to a server, and all of the players also have it. Translation: Great map, but it won't get played often enough.
2. I don't think you can enter the center building. It would really be cool if you could.
Suggestions:
1. Since space is fairly tight in the map, consider making a bunch of breakable elements. Things that a misplaced saber swing could destroy. Or a doorway to the center building that could be smashed open. That would add a lot of excitment.
2. Consider making an evening and/or dusk version of the map, with lots of cool colors in the sky, and bright flames. It would bring out the glow of the sabers too.
All in all, great map. Keep it up!
Even though you don't need it, you'll take it, and like it: 10/10
What really got me is the attention to detail. This is, quite simply, the most beautiful map I have ever played. The orientation of the windchimes. the water effects, plants, roof textures. Just beautiful. The first time we played it, we spent a few minutes just wandering around looking at everything.
Nice work! It is greatly appreciated by us players. Especially me since I have a mac. Jedi Academy is not yet ported for mac and these levels keep JO much fun.
