Oh sry. Ok back to the mod. Great mod! 9!
Also, as for the rolling, I liked it. Maybe it need slowed down a bit because it wasnt at a reasonable speed, but if you do any Kenjutsu or any for of Bujinkan and its off spring, you will realise how important rolls really are in fighting. Especially in sword fighting (why I brought up Kenjutsu). My point is, in reality, if you had the option to roll left or cart wheel left, you would deffinatly roll. In the middle of a cartwheel you could easily be pushed off balance, and your entire body is spread out, with nothign protecting it. *ouch*
Its a good idea, just no thought put into how much LEC and Raven through in for realism not effect.

I don't know if it's possible, but is there any way to include all 5 saber styles in MP?
I've been trying to do this myself, unsuccessfully. Also, possibly increasing the speed of the strong and medium styles slightly and increasing damage on light and medium styles? Another idea, that I think would be great, would be some new attack and defend moves. If you or someone else could do this, that would be incredible.
Especially having all 5 saber styles.
Again, Great mod, I appreciate your hard work.

In response to the guy worried about the realism of the moves for fighting, I understand your reasons and agree with them. But, this is a game and part of the fun(at least for me) is how cool the moves look not how practical they would be in a real fight. A good example would be movie fights, most of the moves are there for effect, not winning the fight.
Hard Driver, pansy is the "lightest" way of saying what I was going to say. How else do you describe something as looking like a little girl playing hopscotch???
And Light_Wings, I realize that the original moves were good, but I wanted to do something different, and put the one-handed saber styles (that WERE included with the game) into multiplayer. If you don't like modifications to the game, I suggest that you don't download mods.
Any constructive critisism is welcome, please continue to let me know what you think.
But please don't just say "blah, I don't like it" :)
My other point was, the gameplay used to be nicer because you could roll through people and around them, being very evasive. Now everytime you cart wheel your left open for a saber to cut you in half.
Im just saying, I dont see the over all point in this mod, so it looks cooler? But the gameplay went to nothing.

Seing as that's nearly impossible (look through some editing forums and you'll find out), I don't think you should be flaming my mod just because it hasn't pulled off any miracles. YES, this mod is for making the moves look cooler, and as far as strong stance is concerned, you can still "get in" while someone is swinging, especially since the animations for the one-handed fast stance are faster.
All I ask is that people don't just get on here and flame. Not to mention, it's against the rules on almost ANY site. To suggest some modification would be fine. But just to post and say that the whole mod sucks is actually written as being against the rules. So, don't.
I'm not trying to be a jerk here, but do you only respond to people who flame you?
I had posted some suggestions and more importantly some questions for you. While I don't expect you to necessarily know the answers to them, it would have been nice if you could have responded to them.
I will give you a 5 because it is quite good.

I'm sorry man, I really DO read everything that gets posted, and take everything into consideration. About 90% of the time I spend on the internet is taken up by what I do with this mod recently. I just don't always reply specifically to everyone on the chat boards. I'll try to a bit more, but between answering all the emails, and reading what everybody has to say, it's just hard to get to it all. But when I read some jerk (who has NO idea about what goes into making ANY kind of mod for ANY game) flaming what I've done, I just feel a need to respond. I just can't stand s**t talkers.
I tried to figure out ways to put the other two saber styles into MP, but ultimately, it didn't work. This mod is, in part, the result of that. When I couldn't add the other two, I figured that I would just replace their counterparts. I'll continue to look for a way to do it, however.
As for the speed and strength of the medium and strong styles, I did play around with them a bit, but found that increasing the ability of either really threw off the balance of power, and made fast style almost completely useless.
But, as I said, I do take everything into consideration, and I'm going to be continuing to work on ways to improve the mod. I'm glad you like it so far, and thanks for the feedback.
I understand and I apologize for being a little snappy. I was having a bad day and can't seem to get the game to accept the changes I'm trying to make, particurly in SP.
I do have some other suggestions for you though. I really don't care about the strong style to be honest, I use the blue stances almost exclusively. So here are my ideas:
1)Would it be possible to include the special jump attack in the one-handed blue stance(you still have it in medium stance)? 2)Another plus would be slightly increasing damage in blue stance.
3) Maybe adding rolls in addition to the cartwheels. Say having to press another key to alternate between them(don't know if this is even possible).
4) One other idea I had was the ability to remove stances from your cycle: example would be that I never use strong, it would be great if it would cycle through the light and medium styles only.
I know, all blue(IMHO how saber fighting should be) strong style is like weilding a battle axe not a light sword.:)
I don't even know if any of my ideas are doable, but please let me know what you think. The biggest ones for me would be #'s 1 & 2 and I'm guessing the most easily implemented.
Again, thanks for your work, I know how hard it is.
