Shinra Mansion

The Massassi Temple » Levels/Mods » Jedi Outcast Multiplayer Level » Shinra Mansion

Description

This is a relatively large multi player level based on the Shinra Mansion in Nibelheim from Final Fantasy VII. It has a fenced in outside and several areas inside for fighting with either sabers or guns as well. It is almost exactly structured like the level from the game, but there are a few artistic liberties taken. Also, I cleared out most of the junk on the floors in order to make room for dueling. There is a secret room only accessable with force and guns. I don't expect you to find it without considerable effort, but it will be worth it when you do. The roof is also accessable with level 2 jump. This level should be fun for both fans of the game and just regular Jedi Outcast players. This level also includes music and full bot support. Hope you like it and good luck with the secret!

great level, i give it a 9 and the secret is sooooooooooo well thought up.

***secret spoiler***
you have to go underground by going inside the mansion from the main entrance and going up the stairs, then take a right and another right and then a left to get into a room with i THINK is a picture of yuffie, but there is also a large stone circle pillar thing, walk up to it and a door will open, go all the way down and go to the corridor that has books on the left and right of you and a desk in front, turn left and shoot the book that says SEPHIROTH instead of the other person(cant remember) then you go to the other desk next to the bookcase thats totally empty and you jump up and shoot the finnal fantasy picture, then go into the room with the coffins and jump ontop of the one at the right of the room when you walk in and shoot the ff7 picture, then hurry back to the corrider where you shot the book and go through the opened bookcase behind the desk. took me forever to find this out.

I think it was too bright inside in spots. You have to remember, its an ABANDONED Mansion, so it wouldnt be so clean. You're missing the plants in the box room, the Piano, and the operating table in the basement (but I think you mentioned removing things to make room for duels). Overall, a good level. I liked the music. Keep working, btw, the building was a golden tint if I remember correctly.

The music came from FF7 it self. And the secret is whe library where you talk to sepiroth and you find vincent. If you remeber how to get there in FF7, it is the same in this level.

Love the level.

Easily one of the best levels for JO right now, and is very much like the Shinra Mansion in FF7. I would like to have another version with all of the stuff laying around, it would be better for gunners, cover places often prove to be useful. However, I would like to make my main point again: this is simply incredible.

Great job man! Other than a few minor things I think you did great. I look forward to more of your work!

Iceman_ , the basement is not the secret. That is just there because it is supposed to be. The real secret lies in the basement and i would be more secretive about it but someone just spoiled it on the comments if u scroll up.

i love this level. the music fits and i like the pics of the ff7 chars. the basement is almost exactly as it was in the game. the 1st and 2nd stories would be a little better if they were darker, though.

Overall, a pretty good level; great idea, FF7 kicks @#%!!! However, a few things kept it from being a 10. First of all, in some parts of the level, I just kept thinking to myself that the proportion is wrong. This is especially the case in the basement room w/ the partially filled shelves, those shelves are just WAY too big. Secondly, I think a little bit more attention could be paid to detail in some places. As other people have said, the lighting could be better. Also, that room in the basement with the 2 immersion tanks could have been made to look a little bit more like it actually did in FF7. And outside, I think it could have been made to look a little bit more like the outside of the mansion did in the game; you don't have to build an exact replica of Nibelheim, but maybe a little bit more similar. Besides those 2 things, great job man!!

cool! If you stand on top of the Yuffie picture and look out the window you can see what looks like a secret aerith room or something! Was this intentional? or is it just a glitch?

Nice... Now if only we had a decent set of FFVII characters to use...
