This is my very first level I have made. Its game types are duel, ffa, team ffa and ctf. This map's theme is floating catwalks in the sky.

I rated this just 2, because it was for Jedi Outcast.

But I really hope levels for Outcast are somewhat better than this.

rated 4 because it has some good aspects
it will be a success on the Zone and at GameSpy, that's for sure!

but try making something with a bit more to it than "catwalks in the sky" =)

Its a good saber bsttle place, but...well.....it just doesn't have anything to it. Try making some more details. I'm sure level making is hard.
O, by the way, wasn't there a Catwalkz level for JK? Good luck on future levels!! :)

I can't say how this level plays--I haven't dl'ed it but it's really rude to take the name of the OTHER catwalkz level for JK. It's actually pretty good. At least, if you're going to steal the name, change the spelling for cryin' out loud...

Unoriginal, uninspired, and boring. I have a feeling this was rushed to release "just because". Come up with some better ideas and spend more than an hour, next time, please.

I made my poor 56k download 390k for THIS?? *sigh* I gave it a 2. Mainly just for effort (or the little that was put in). First maps SHOULD NOT be released....unless they are showcased and people think it's great, or unless it's beta tested by some reviewers or something.

Drazen Isle gets a 10. This level doesn't even deserve a score - how can you put it on the same level as a level like Drazen?

Drazen Isle's fps was nyeeeeh...but hey, this lvl is better than my first (a dflt box with an icy floor and a door stuck in the floor in the middle with a concussion rifle above it...the theme was "Get the concussion rifle"...

I think it`s a good effort cosidering the SDK has only been out for a few days. It`s good to see maps getting done so soon :D

The fact that maps are getting done this soon is the problem. Take your time, put forth an honest effort. Showcase your work, get feedback, that's what the forums (http://forums.massassi.net/) are for.

Viper45, the community hasn't turned into anything. when the first few JK maps came out they weren't that great and we talked about how they weren't great openly.
it's called constructive criticism.

my frist JK map was booed and hissed at but the real community are the ones who always give good advice on what to do on making it better; or in this case starting from scratch again =)

and Lightside has a good point. if it's one of your first few maps then showcase it first (Forum 3) or have a friend beta test it then release it. it's better to spend more time to make sure it's a good map then to be flamed by all the idiots (yes, there are some idiots who flame even though I said that you'll get constructive crit. as well)

Algar's right here guys, the showcase is an excellent place to get opinions on your level before it's released. Also, you should generally follow the 1st Level Rule (Don't release it).

No JK_Falcon....I see it too..but to me it looks like a ghetto dark tempest. Plz ppl...make sum good lvls....like forest JO lvls......take advantage of it's awesome graphix!!

I gave you a 5 because it was a nice effort, and well I can't map myself so I can't really complain too much. Although, it would be nice for mappers to test their maps with bots before release to ensure it runs properly. I tried this map with bots and they jump continously and then jump off the board. thanks for taking a shot at it.

Well im glad some people like my map I know it may not of been very original but I dident know that there was a catwalkz for jk
I find I have trobel coming up with new ideas for mapping maybe im the only one or it happens to every one well im gonna try working on another map but as most of you sugjested takeing longer to do it and showcaseing it first although I think massassi has there form registers closed down for now

I made the origional Catwalkz for JK. This level looks ok from the screenshots. I havent actualy downloaded it. I was going to make an update to my origional Catwalkz. It was going to be bigger, better, and a lot more secrets and stuff; but sadly my computer crashed and i lost all the data. Good luck for any future levels you might make...This level is ok for a first try!

Good level looks like a lot of fun to play on. But it gets a little boring after a while and it is a little small. Add to it and this could be a really sweet level.
