Battle Arena version 0.5

The Massassi Temple » Levels/Mods » Jedi Knight Multiplayer Level » Battle Arena version 0.5

Description

This level is set on a planet covered in shallow water. It has a cat walk in the sky that you can reach by elevator. It is great for tournaments; the spectators can stay at the bottom waiting for someone to drop to their death.

Yes it is my first level and it is for my clan games, cause the two people that fight have to fight at the top if they fall they die. It is small and basic cause a) i just started using jedi b)i don't know how to use jed very well and c) it took 1 week to find out how to make elevators work, so i still feel proud.

So if any one could please help me im at slain_unrealtournament@hotmail.com
and i use jed beta0.95

nothing helps more than someone who knows how to use jed and has a messenger thing. That's how i basically learned. oh, and check the catwalk tutorials. (they helped me ALOT cause i didn't understand the outdoor building tutorials)

yeah, i give you a 1 for well, uhh because i'm nice...i really didn't like the level at all, because i too just started editing (but i'm talking like 2 days ago.) and i can still do a lot better than this...but i really didn't enjoy this level at all, and i'm real sorry for all the negativeness, but next time make a level with more, how shall i say? stuff in it. sorry again for the negativeness

Horrible, just horrible.

You can get some half decent first levels, but this was just nasty. You'll need to do a lot to make the next 0.5 of your level decent. Like starting over again. Sorry :(

Hey,
Don't worry about it. I have two tips. (1) Never release your first level. You have not had time to learn as much as you need to know. (2) Find a friend who knows what he's talking about and have him help you a lot. My first level was really crappy. I basically had 5 big rooms with crates making different "architecture". I had about 300 objects in that one tiny little level, and everything was the same mat. Needless to say, if I had released that I would have been laughed off the forums. (I didn't know what 300 crates do to framerates.) Just keep thinking, and find someone to run your ideas by before you release them.
