Posted: 2001-12-25 5:11 p.m.   Report Abuse Just got done playing a game with this and the 'boarding mod. Me and my friend found it kinda..boring. It didn't give us points for doing some of the cool tricks we figured out. Also with just one hill, we got tired of it quickly.

We think that if you A) put in a way to kill (lightsabers mostly...two identical hills face each other, players snowboard down and 'joust')...B) have it actually give you points for tricks...C) Make more hills that this will be a wonderful style of gameplay. =)

Posted: 2001-12-25 6:10 p.m.   Report Abuse I gave this a 7, there are quite a few little glitches. I didn't know if it was the mod or the level. I think that it would be better if you could build up more speed and get more air. I couldn't make it over the first jump. And I do have to agree with what the2cuz said. Jousting would be neat, but more importantly you need to add points. Otherwise, good job, keep up the good work!

We wanted to release something now, just to give you all a peice of the action.

ANYONE CAN MAKE A LEVEL FOR THE MOD!!! On our website I'll even post the mountain you made ( If its good enough ) and full credit on the level to you.

Posted: 2001-12-26 10:13 a.m.   Report Abuse I gvae this level a 5. I found that it was too small to do any snowboarding. The lift took too long to go up and back down. I was always getting stuck under the snow area that's just below the top ramp. The walls at the little hut were paper thin or something because I kept seeing through them.

I hated that the Japan Air wasn't finished because that trick would have been kewl. Only thing that bothered me was I would have liked to use weapons more effectively and still be able to use tricks or something like that. Good job dude.

Posted: 2002-01-19 7:09 p.m.   Report Abuse I would give this level a 10, but there are just some things about this level that bug me, so I'm giving it an 8. There are some noticeable glitches in the level, such as the hole in the snow that's after the first ramp that you can't get out of, and there's another spot in the mountain just after that same ramp that you can get stuck in too. The ramp at the bottom of the hill is a bit off with the lift, so you have to jump into the lift to get inside it. This level could be much bigger, with different hills varying in difficulty, different objects to pull tricks off of, add a bigger ski lodge, the ability to get on and off your snowboard, maybe instead of where the sabers used to be in creating a player, put different styles of boards to pick from. If you'd just make it actually feel like a snowboarding thing, then you'd be set.
