Easily going down as one of the best DM maps of all time for JK. The atmosphere and and gameplay can only be compared with the likes of Hangar 217 and MCMD. An instant classic. Can't wait to see more from the author. I give it a 9, the bugs were minor.

Very good level. I love the asymmetrical layout.

i am pretty sure someone has allready mentioned this, but the ship's name is the Executor, not it's class, it is an Imperial-Super Star Destroyer, or something along those lines. awsome level though, dont feel bad about misnaming it. keep up the good work

i rated it an 8. its a good level, i like it. it just doesnt remind me much of a star destroyer. and another thing that bugged me, there wasnt a captains chair, ready room, or anything. just a bunch of command stations on the bridge. but it was a good level, i havnt played it with anyone else yet, but i did explore most/all of it... heh k well whatever, keep up the good work

The Super-class Star Destroyer could be known as the Executor-class Star Destroyer, if you consider the Eclipse-Class Star Destroyer and this web site http://www.theforce.net/swtc/

Actually, The Executor class SSD is slightly bigger and has better armor and firepower. Only two were ever made, One the aptly named Executor and the other being the Lusankya.
By the way, I'm not new here, just lost my pass.

In the imperial navy it's common that a new starship class get's the name of it's first ship - the first SSD was the Executor. There were many other SSD types - The eclipse-class, the souvereign-class(an amazing ship), the vengeance-class etc.

As well there is acutaully on 'imperial' class star destroyer, for the first one ever built was named 'Imperator' so the 'normal' Star Dddestroyers are of the 'imperator' class. And this one is of the 'Executor' class.

To comment on the level: Great architecture, very good texturing and outstanding lighting. But for a real Executor-class SSD I miss the real authentic command bridge from the movies.

Ummm, that doesnt sound right. There were 4 SSDs, the Lusankya, actually a remake, the Executor, the Iron Fist, and one more but I forget its name. The SSDs were 17 Kilometers. The Eclipse class was 16, however much bulkier on the bottom, and thus was considred more massive. Both the SSD and ESD carried 2 wings of fighters but the ESD out numbered the SSD in total turrets. There were 2 ESDs, the Eclipse I and Eclipse II, Palpantine Crisoned them himselve, his seconed nameing was original huh?

The Sovereigns were only 6 Kilometers, only about 1/3 the size, however, there were quite a few more than the SSDs. I beleive the Imperator was next, but not sure on exact length, and then the ISD, or Imperial Star Destroyer, the first SD made specificly for the Imperial Navy, and then the VSDs, or Victory star destroyers, a half kilometer in length, used during the clone wars by both sides.

BTW, Nice level, DL keeps screwing up though but the screens are execelent.

I am easily one of the most cynical of critics as far as the JK Community is concerned, I have played JK for 4 years, and never have I seen a level like this. The author's work should be hailed; this level exceeds the LEC levels in all possible categories and looks like something that will hopefully be seen in Jedi Outcast. I don't often comment on levels because it isn't something I find worth my time, but for what it's worth, I commend the author on a true masterpiece. This is a keeper.

The Fourth SSD was The Terror. On note of the level, GREAT! We need more quality levels like this in the JK community.

There's a two more executor class SSDs: Admiral Daala's Jedi Hammer and Warlord Zinji's second SSD, the Razor's Kiss, that was destroyed shortly after taken into service. The Executor Class were 17,6 kms long. The Eclipse class AND the souvereign Class are about the same length. Then we've got Admiral Giel's flaggship - It's about six kilometers long and looks more like a Normal Star Destroyer. The vengeance class is the SSD used by Jerec. It's about 8 kilometers long. So we got that.

Hi! It's actually KoG_Waymoot, the designer of this level, but my password isn't working for some reason so I had to take other measures. That being said...Woohoo!! Thanks for all the great feedback! I wanted to have this level ready for the contest but my comp broke down so I had to put it on hold. sigh....oh well. Anyone who has spent any time with Jed knows the work and time that goes into finishing a level, and when I see reviews like this it makes me feel some real vindication. I did some (not much) research on the net before naming the level but I had no idea how much I had to learn about Star Destroyer origins...whew!

I did a little more research and this site was quite helpful--http://www.theforce.net/swtc/ssd.html#introduction
It supports the idea of the Executor being the class.

This level is wonderful. I've been d/l levels from massassi for over a year and rarely have i seen levels of this quality. Great job and keep making more. Oh, and who the hell cares if theres no captain's chair? An eight because there's no ready room? You know, these rooms could be anywhere inside this incredible massive ship...

All I can say is WOW! This level looks and plays beautifully. My friends and I have been editing for awhile now, but none of us can turn out anything like this! We had a blast slaugthering each other on this level for weeks ;). I'm gonna look for more by this author.
