Forgotten Tomb

Posted: 2001-10-07 9:01 a.m.   Report Abuse Ummm... from the Scrrenshots it just looks like a box within a box. A lot like Office Complex only with different textures, a story line, and two sith statues guarding the entrance.

This looks like an early piece of work, so I'll give it a 2, and I don't think it's worthy of ym time or harddrive space.

For a first or second map, however, it's ok. I just wouldn't recommend releasing levels like this until you have increased in experience and knowledge.

Posted: 2001-10-07 9:22 a.m.   Report Abuse If you open up any of this guy's .gob's all the levels are in each one. There's about 10 or so of 'em. Beware, I think he's posted them all.

Okay, now for the constructive part. Make something good in the level. More than just a box in a box. At least this one's walls aren't paper thin.

Posted: 2001-10-07 9:37 a.m.   Report Abuse I gave it a 2, mostly because by your discription, it sounds like it is supposed to be a sabers level with hidden guns. As far as game play, anytime you have a huge open space, like the outside, that plays better with guns. Its also very boxy like the other 2 you released. I think you should do what Im doing and wait untill you can at least get decent at cogging, architexture, textureing and lighting, as well as plan gameplay ahead of time before you realease your levels.

Posted: 2001-10-10 8:00 a.m.   Report Abuse Well this was not that good. It was really just an area with a room in the middle. It would be hard to tell it was a tomb if there were no statues outside. It could have had a secret way down underground to a vault containing several tombs or one tomb for an important person. But instead it had a rock with some guns under it. One of the walls outside had something wrong with it. So it could have been improved.
