An old canyon on the planet Sulon that's the location for an old forgotten temple, now used as a meeting ground for the LEGION clan. This is my first released level.

Pretty good, just remember no one likes boxland, so if your gonna do a box, make it in a shed or something, just a thaught.

Boring boxes and a few wafer thin walls. Crazy Pic laughing when you fall down that solid waterfall. Also those overlapping catwalks give a crazy hallucigenic effect. Texturing is dull. Not a lot of effort has gone into this.

Il try a little harder next time. I admit i kinda rushed it :)

Blech, if you knew you rushed it, why did you release it? This pales in comparison to the level I made for the clan LEGiON(the original LEGiON clan, not one of these cop offs) when I actually played JK on the zone. That level is floating around massassi somewhere.

The texturing needs lots of work. I find the lack of architecture disturbing.

Ok Legion Listen. Solution for Perfect Temple Level.

Use the 20.val Colormap. THE BEST for Temples.

Try not to make rooms all one texture it gives is such a boring aspect. Try to split each wall up into diffrent textures.

If you dont know how to make a waterfall move. Dont do one.

Try not to make Catwalks over lap. It gives the level a really bad look. Dont worry, it happens :)

If you are going to make a temple level refrain from using anything to do with technology, give it a real type of "old world" feel.

Dome's look sooooo good in Temples. Of course they are hard to do using the 20.val colormap because lack of what I call Repeating Textures, like the base colors, only ones that go with your level.

P.S Take a look at Chapel of The Night. I made that, it's small cause it was one of my first ones, but look at the textures in that :)

Well for a first level I think its pretty good, my first level sucked so bad...it was a pool level in mots hah and it had red flashing sectors right around the building. This is a good first level I think.

Now u know how to adjoin you probably need to think about how to get rid of the boxy look and also be careful with 3dos like the other dude said.

Read the tutorials they will give you different methods of creating areas.
