I wish more level authors would send levels like this.
As Brian mentioned, the visuals of this level were superb and created a perfect mood, and it is always a pleasure to see a new skin in a single player level. The puzzles were great, not too easy, but not the kind that are impossible to figure out. Of course, like all levels, it had a couple of flaws. Even though the author shows some excellent COG usage late on in the level, he didn't take the time to create a startup COG so that the player selected a weapon. This may seem like a petty thing to winge about, but it instantly gave a very unprofessional feel at the start, luckily this feeling was remeded later on. I also felt that the level could have done with more health pickups.
Overall, it is definately worth the download, especially for the file size. Sure, I could name some better levels, but I could name a lot more that are worse.
Rating: 8/10
This one definitely stands out - great (if in the beginning somewhat bland) architecture, great enemy placement, very good use of COGs and pretty interesting puzzles.
I haven't had so much fun in a SP for quite some time - pretty much LEC quality (take that as a compliment ;-)
First off, I agree on Anthony's point. The gun should have been selected at the start.
Now when I dropped into the lake I noticed several things. If I jumped out of it and back in, like I was on the surface of it, it would keep reselecting my gun.
Also, I went over to where one of the decoration waterfalls were and had to restart the level.
When I did, the music continued and did not shut off until I left JK...=/
Well, just beat the level, and it's a pretty good one.
I'm going to give it a 8/10
Nice level, and nice job on LotW!
I'm not an editor - just a gamer.
I found the level a bit boring.
So I played it with Killer Weapons Pack which spiced it up a bit.
I don't think it was the 'epic' it was said to be!
Architechture: Wow that is amazing! Plus there was a very little boxiness feel.
Gameplay: This was the first time as soon as you enter the level, you get dropped into a lake. As soon as I saw this I thought... I'm going to be attacked by drugons in the beginning? Oh boy, was I wrong! I liked the way how he did those pipes because I got confused when I tried to get them up to the vetilation shaft(I better quit on this so people can figure it out for themselves).
Final Comments: A great level that has a found a great place on my hard drive.
All in all, a nice level with good puzzles. Well done.
Okay. I liked this level. It has everything you could offer in a good level. It was good because it didn't pile on a bunch of enemy's in one room. I think there could have been a boss there. It had seceret levels, and a pretty good cut sceane in the beginning. You had to find some keys for some switches, but that's what makes it a good level.

Anyway, I had problems with the door, too. How *do* you get through to that control room? I coudln't figure out a way, finally, I ended up having to use "wamprat" and getting to the end of the level, then backtracking. Very confusing.
But the rest was definately fun. :)
