Posted: 2000-09-09 5:28 p.m.   Report Abuse I haven't finished it yet so all this is a preliminary report. The architecture was very nice. The texturing was quite good, although no new textures were included. The gameplay was pretty good but there should be a LOT more health and shield powerups. I found one misflagged floor, but thats somewhat forgivable since it was under an elevator.

I did have a few other problems with this level.
1. WEAPONS - you start with the bryar and imediately pick up the blastech. Its easy to just have the player start with the blastech. Also, since when does Han use a lightsaber? There's even a place where you MUST use it to open a grate sice you don't have any explosives yet.
2. Enemies - Despite the large number of enemies to fight in the level there are no new enemies. Several of Gonk's enemies would go very well with the level. Anyway, that's kind of picky. What really is a problem is that in the middle of the level, for absolutely no reason, you find 2 stormtroopers in the middle of all these smugglers and thugs.
3. There's a sound of Han's voice taken from one of the movies and put in the game. Isn't that illegal?

Posted: 2000-09-10 10:30 a.m.   Report Abuse Good level, except some adjoined surfaces that showed (about 4-5) like one was in the begining part where that fake door looking this is, if you go close to it and turn around you will see what I mean, I really liked it the level and the gameplay and thought the level was cool.

Posted: 2000-09-15 12:24 p.m.   Report Abuse Damn fine level design, but slightly lacking in powerups and maybe even gameplay. A good storyline might have helped. And also I think there may have been a bit of a lack of powerups. Hey, criticism is good you know.
Still, download it if you want a half decent single player level.

Posted: 2000-09-16 6:22 a.m.   Report Abuse This was good, I've heard complaints that it was hard, but I had no problems. Some bits were amaturely done (e.g. the BlasTech on the floor at the start). THe Millennium Falcon moved suprisingly slow at the start. There was no Chewbacca, he shoulda been there. There was also a number of bugs (Han falls down a pit and lands on a floor textured like a sky). I think that this level needed more custom stuff, more custom textures and enemies. Apart from the bad points, good job!
