We are now entering the final days of the Jedi Knight Screensaver Project! With only a few days to go, time is running out! Send in your submissions while you can! I'll take any pics from Jedi Knight or Mysteries of the Sith. Although pics from the stock version are fine, pics from mods/add-on levels, as well as doctored pics, are even better. Get creative and see what you can come up with. Also, the game will automatically save the pic as a PCX file. Try to convert it to BMP or JPG/JPEG before sending it, as my conversions usually don't turn out so well. Try your hand at Jedi photography, and send it to JKScreensaver@hotmail.com.I don't know about you guys, but this seems to me like a great way to immortalize your contest levels. Go for it!
After a looong delay, Sandcrawler Productions's Art of the Lightsaber mod is available for download. This is a beta release however - there are no skins. A buggy skinset was delaying the release.Want to download it? Well you'll have to head on over to Sandcrawler Productions or Outpost D-34 to do that!
Jedi Knight Episode Manager (JEM) beta 1 has been released on the Jedi Dreams Web page.It sounds really cool, so go check it out!
JEM is a Jedi Knight/MotS game launcher/manager for add-on levels. JEM features built in unzip support. Just load up the Zip file of the Level you downloaded, press the "UN-ZIP and play" button and you're in the game! JEM lets you choose a common folder to store all your levels in in Zip format so you can save space on your hard drive. Basic file management tools are also included.
JEM CD-R Edition:
This is a special edition of JEM for owners of CD-R\RW drives that you can burn onto your disks with your levels. After you burn the CD JEM will be autoplayed and the user will get a nice little launch menu with all the levels listed in its window.
