A Jedi's Quest: Part 1
Author: [Luke Thomas] Reviewer: [Home_Sliced]
- Aesthetics:
- This is quite a set of levels. Puzzles, fighting, cutscenes, atmosphere, plot, and so much more. There is quite literally a little bit of everything in this pack. On the visual side of things, the author does a commendable job in all areas. The architecture is diverse and engaging. The texturing is a little repetitive in places, but for the most part complements the architecture well. The lighting is solid, although the colored lighting could use a little tweaking. All in all, a solid set of levels aesthetically.
- Gameplay:
- The gameplay of A Jedi’s Quest is fairly standard. Nothing stands out in my mind as innovative or new. There are a variety of bad guys to fight, even a few bosses, and a series of puzzles to solve. This is by no means a boring set of levels, but it did not grab my attention the way other levels have. Item and enemy placement were both adequate, but enemy placement in particular could be improved. The diversity in this pack is what kept it going for me.
- Final Comments:
- I strongly recommend you download this pack. There is a solid hour to an hour and a half of gameplay.
