- Aesthetics:
- For the most part, Crust looked great. The architecture was very solid, and as you can see in the screenshots, some of the areas were really top notch. All the textures were well placed and lined up perfectly. The only complaint I have in this department is the fact that some of the water was transparent, while some wasn't. I think the author should be consistent. Granted, the area without transparent water had other transparencies, and the JK engine can't well handle a transparency through a transparency, so in this situation, it was probably the best idea. The lighting was very average, but it certainly got the job done.
- Gameplay:
- What can I say? In my opinion, this is an instant classic. The level doesn't flow like a straight deathmatch level due to the fact that thrust tubes scattered throughout can be controlled by switches. You can start going up a tube, but if someone switches the thrust while you're in it, you'll find yourself floating back down. There are varied areas, such as outdoor rocky places, mixed with indoor base-type sections. Some users have complained of framerate problems, but I didn't experience any at all.

- All in all, another great level by Slug. If you haven't downloaded and played this level yet, you're missing out.
