Aesthetics:

This is a great looking level, but there are a few things that take away from it. At times it seems to be a bit boxy. As I am not an editor I can't fully explain the lighting... it 'seems' to be coloured lighting which is a nice little feature. The lighting was not uniform throughout, it changed from area to area. The level was given ambience by the coloured lighting, it almost seemed as if the lava was giving off the light.

Gameplay:

Unfortunately the level while looking great doesn't seem to play well... I was in a game with about 6 people and it just seemed to drag on and get boring, it was hard to get a good fight going without someone running off. There just didn't seem to be enough weapons available. The framerate in quite a bit of the areas was TERRIBLE. I was getting framerates of 12-20 when I usually get 60-90 fps.

Final Comments:

It's a great looking level, a little harsh on the framerate. I think it's better geared for a slower game, but that's just my opinion :)
