Army Guns Pack
Author: [blindsaber] Reviewer: [Hoard]
- Aesthetics:
- In my opinion this, the Army Guns Pack didn't live up to its potential. While the author created good looking guns with perfectly aligned textures, the projectiles were plain JK style. The only real change in this mode were that of the gun 3dos, and if the author had spent more time on it, the Army Guns Pack could have been much better. The guns consisted of mainly rail detonator rounds being fired at an abnormal pace, making it far too easy to kill your opponents. There was one error that caught my attention, and that was that the concussion rifle no longer had a secondary fire, yet the normal animation's were played when the trigger was pulled The only other aspect of the game was a "Rambo" model. The textures look a bit too cartoon - like for my taste, and once again could have been improved with time.
- Gameplay:
- I felt that the gameplay wasn't fun at all due to the fact that most of the guns fired rail detonators too fast to escape. This took the difficulty out of the game, which to me is why Jedi Knight is so fun. This mod would be fun if you're the type of person who likes to blow stuff up, but otherwise, I wouldn't suggest you download the Army Guns Pack.
- Final Comments:
- This mod could have been much better if the author had spent more time to change every aspect of these guns. New projectiles would have helped tremendously, as well as original sounds, but due to the fact that this mod was a simple change in the game, the score will definitely be hurt. I urge all editors out there to spend as much time perfecting your projects as needed.
