Aesthetics:

This mod actually contained several new features, almost all of which looked good. There was a new multi-player level, new weapons, and a new dark trooper skin. The new level was very nice, and could have been released as a stand alone product itself. It had good item placement, but it was a little sparse on ammo for some of the guns. The architecture and lighting in it were both very good as well. The new weapons for the most part, looked nice as well. The saber was a bit big though, and some of the guns were a little too gray. A bit more detail on the gun textures would have been nice. The skin also looked very good. The author does state in the readme that it wasn't his, but Al McDonald's. All in all, this pack looks very good.

Gameplay:

It's in this area that the pack falls a little short. Flying around as a dark trooper is indeed fun, but the weapons provided are a little too powerful to make a good multi-player match. The level played very well though, if it would have had just a few more items it would have been great. I did notice a couple problems with the level, but they were minor ones. For one, the force field trap in one part didn't work. Also, some of the stairs were difficult to climb, slowing down gameplay, but this is in only one area, and it isn't bad.

Final Comments:

This MOD provides some fun playing in single-player, and the multi-player level is good, but I would recommend not playing the patch with it, as it is unbalanced in the weapons area. Fixing the bugs in the level and balancing the weapons more would have made this MOD really stand out. I would recommend its download.
